It's hard to tell on these Edwardian cars. My only reference, really, are old tractors, which sometimes had both the throttle and the spark advance on the steering wheel in similar arrangement. One thing for sure is that the spark control was definitely manual.

Would the corollary of this be a VW Golf somewhere in Tennessee painted in the colors of the Irish flag?

Sigh. Too many people, even in this great big land.

I see a lot of criticism for these lists, which is probably why AOTD took an extended sabbatical.

Yep. In fact, before 1998, Mercedes had never built a V6.

Maybe this will make the Montreal race less crowded? (would much rather see first F1 race in Montreal)

The software for the Garmin astrolabe is terrible. They shouldn't have bothered.

You can retard in a Toyota, but you can't advance.

I would compare it also to the Volvo C30, which is, for slightly more money, a more interesting car. Perhaps not as nimble, but definitely faster and arguably more comfortable for long stretches. The GTI is a close second for me, though.

This seems to prove the E. coli did originate in Germany.

Great, he crashed the first Civic ever made.

He was clearly posting to Twitter.

Heheheh. Sorry, Lumina.

It's the kind of car that may have a buyer in Romania, or the Ukraine. All they know is that it's American, big, kinda powerful, supposedly valuable, and different.

So intense! Double dual cam!

Yeah, me, too. But it's hard to make a case for a car that's really only a little more practical than a 308/328/348, and far less iconic in shape. Those back seats are next to useless. Oddly, it remains the only 4-seat open mid-engine car ever produced in volume.

Good one. Should be in AOTD.
