Bad comparison. Colonial Marine was hyped up to death and juggled between studios for almost a decade. This just got announced, so the comparison is not sound.

I completely agree. Black Ops 2 was pretty great. I like how it actually had a sympathetic villain, and you could understand why he wanted to do the awful stuff he does in the story. Like it was kinda self-aware and made the heroes look like the bad guys at points, which made the story richer.

I disagree. MW3 was worse. At least Ghosts took some more chances than MW3, like starting a new storyline and adding more customization options or the interactive map stuff. Ghosts is probably only the second worst.

They mentioned different modes in the game. Turning of the AI soldiers might be an option. I feel like the AI enemies are made more for the multiplayer campaign, to make it feel more like a singleplayer campaign while still having other players as enemies.

It's a 6V6 player game, but both teams have weaker cannon fodder soldiers that fight on their side, kinda like the creep or minions in Dota or League of Legends.

You'll be happy to know this version did eventually get made. It's called Warframe and it's awesome!

Here's an idea, an extinction map, but instead of aliens you have various horror movie monsters, and make it a tie-in with the movie cabin in the woods, starting in the cabin, then into the woods, then into the underground facility.

I actually liked the first one. For a game that already has an obtuse dumb storyline they did a good job of working something out. I'm talking about the anime movie AND the live action one. I hope the new one has King in it though :/

The rape thing is not referring to the torture scene above, it's referring to an audio clip that is in Ground Zeroes where you hear a sexual assault happen. This is actually kind of Kotaku's fault for using a misleading picture to head the article.
