Splitscreen online would be demanding, but why not just have a separate local play feature. No online, just 4 screens. The online can have it's own section on the menu.

I call bullshit. If it's so next gen, they should be able to figure out a way to make it work. I don't care if it lowers the graphical settings to a large degree in order to do it.

Cod with mechs is no where near an apt description for this. "Cod with mechs" wishes it could be this game. This is crossing campaign and multiplayer together. That may be possible. The game has been confirmed to have dedicated servers, so modding may be a possibility.
