Yeah, I've had more training with European classical choral music. I think we had one incident when the choir had gone like a half step flat, and then the tenor entered the piece back on the correct pitch. It was a mess.

Yeah, and choirs too right? Choirs go flat together and sharp together, so by the end of the song, someone with perfect pitch could be an entire half step off.

Right? At least style her in something that looks comfortable and flattering.

Thanks for spelling that out for me. That makes me feel a bit better about the numbers.

Thanks for the info. I'm in the process of applying for medical school, so it's great to hear ways I can help as a health care provider in the future. :) Are you going into OB/GYN?

Through my experience with Law and Order: SVU, it seems like processing the rape kit is the first step in establishing a rape took place. So it doesn't make sense that they wouldn't test them...how can you dismiss a case without doing that preliminary work? How do they decide which kits to process?

I don't get it. I literally don't get it. Is it because these cases don't get prosecuted? How could this evidence not be looked into for every single case???

If you can stomach it in the future, I'd recommend it. Rashida Jones gets to be the funny, messy one for once.

Oh man, I have yet to give a shit about Miley Cyrus naked-gate, but that latest teaser trailer actually might have pushed me over the edge. I literally took dirty pictures for my SO in those same positions. Girl, if you want to do porn, do porn.

It's more about how difficult that is to apply it to humans. I work in a cancer lab, and you wouldn't believe the amount of times an effective therapy has been developed in a controlled mouse model. We haven't cured cancer, but it's not because of a lack of trying or research hours.

Thanks for replying!

We've cured cancer in mice a bunch of times.

It's really good filler conversation, especially if you have misgivings about the engagement or don't really know the people well.

Yeah the whole point of a thigh gap is that your thighs don't touch when your knees do. Or something, I dunno.

"I sat there, in shock, while my harasser continued to yell threats and insults at me from the rear of the bus."

I think it's hard to separate economic status from issues of substance abuse and mental illness (which this guy was probably dealing with). Those threats are crazy unusual and definitely tied to underlying issues. Privileged frat boys are generally more savvy than to just do that shit outright.

I have one of these—they're fantastic. Looks like a lip stain.

Right?? And people forget he took her name as well. Plus I saw the "Mrs. Carter" thing as totally tongue in cheek.

Are you from SF? The "bad neighborhood" thing isn't as raced here as maybe other cities and is more about where the SROs are, and where the homeless are. SF has a really large homeless population, and a lot of them are desperate and extremely mentally ill. I don't see a lot of people telling her she shouldn't have

Living in SF, like the weather, harassment comes in microclimates. I used to be harassed every day on the way to work from Mission to SOMA (not too far from this intersection). Then I changed jobs, changed neighborhoods, and I have literally never had a problem in 2 years. Not to mention I bart across the bay 2x a
