Gurl, Tyra Collette took your spot. She got into UT off the wait-list because she worked her butt off.

Well, nothing in the article or the linked article mentions vanity sizing. But I see certain brands expanding the lower range of their size (000 is now a thing) and keeping the upper range the same. So if a jeans retailer makes sizes 23-32, with the 32 being indicated as a 14, and that's cut bigger than a 14 because…
Question: is this actually a vanity sizing issue?
Cosigned. It is so damn hard though, especially if you're the only person in the room who has a problem. Often I get so flustered I mumble out a "That's not okay," and then clam up.
I just used it in this context for more anonymity, haven't really seen it used too often in real life. I like the concept though! I wish we had more gender neutral pronouns
Yeah, unfortunately it wasn't a loan. This is a former roommate who hadn't paid into the security deposit. After the apartment dissolved, the utilities charges and wear-and-tear were deducted from the security deposit. This is the money this person needs to pay back to account for his/her time in the apartment.
Any suggestions for how to get money back? Someone we know owes my SO about $1400. These are unpaid utility bills and apartment expenses, including rent—not money freely given as a loan or gift.
Let me get this straight: women should get over their feelings of inequality because the dynamic of men > women is as simple as boss > employee? And you think it's okay to shame women about what they cry over, because if it doesn't bother you than how could it possibly bother anyone?
Ok, just so we're clear, it is possible to hold two opposing ideas in your head. Just because a TV show or book series has problematic aspects to it doesn't mean the entire work is useless or we should feel insanely guilty for enjoying it. I like GOT, but liking something doesn't make me turn my brain off and reject…
OH he knows about this episode. And he was Not Happy.
I guess I use "sassy" because "spunky" calls to mind some unfortunate images.
I totally agree. This happened to me after I moved in with a SO after college. I felt like I hadn't gotten to do the fun stuff of decorating the place, making it a shared space. The apartment was run down, and there were holes in the furniture—decisions I had no part of, and that often frustrated me. And then he would…
What makes a strong "Man":
The nose. In the stills from the new shows it looks like she's had her nose bobbed so it doesn't point as much. This still from the premiere looks just like her old nose. Unless I'm going crazy
It's totes for the show. Here she is at the show's premiere less than a month ago:
As someone entering the medical school admissions rat race...you will not BELIEVE the people who want to be doctors. I know someone who recently started his 1st year of medical school who was verbally abusive to his girlfriend and caused her to develop an eating disorder. Other people in some of my pre-med classes…
I tell that to my SO but I'm not sure if he fully believes me. I love his laugh lines and wrinkles. It's really attractive to me! Blame Heath Ledger. That guy had a wonderfully wrinkly happy smile.
I google searched Kate Upton and found a picture of her in a bra that fits! So different from what we see in catalogs and on runways.
Eh, I think it can be pretty subtle. I'm mid-20s and I noticed this past year that one of my dimples became much more pronounced and my cheeks pull up instead of out. But apparently facial fat is what keeps ya looking younger, so you may look 14 at 24...and then 24 at 34.
The "Amanda-Bynes-Calling-People-Ugly" thing is just so weird. Especially when she's talking to a gorgeous model. It's definitely from a place of her own insecurity; she's always been cute, but (when she was going to award shows still) hadn't gone through the natural post-puberty facial thinning that makes older…
