I never said he did. Someone can remark that you’ll need a thin wall socket while using nice tools. It’s a note to the viewer, not the person doing the work.

Jason says (I haven’t watched the video yet) you need a “thin-wall” socket, which is kind of odd, because that’s something you usually hear in the context of impact sockets. Clearly no one is using impact sockets on spark plugs, so I’m wondering if they’re just saying that you can’t use some cheap ass Harbor Freight…
Carbon emissions are only part of the problem, I suppose. The other issues discussed have more to do with urban planning and public safety. Drive-thrus represent a kind of blight to a lot of people; the kind of people who would prefer to ban cars from cities altogether.
*bites bottom lip*
Ah shit, you’re right. I had the 1,000W number in my head, but forgot it was the solar input, not output. I wish Kinja would let me edit.
This is a good fucking take right here. It’s tempting to take sides in a situation like this, but ultimately no one rose up and did what they should’ve done.
While you’re pouring over the finer points of the meanings of words, you should look into “colloquial”.
The solar sunroof in the RS6 powered the car’s ventilation, which is not the same as powering the AC system. The AC system includes the compressor, which requires significantly more power than a fan.
200W isn’t going to run your air conditioning system. Not even close. It might power the fan, but the compressor will require at least 750W, and if you’re using an electric motor, figure on double that for startup wattage.
If that’s the case, we’ve had flying cars for quite a while now.
It’s like when someone punches a nazi. I don’t generally condone violence as a method of recourse, but I mean... It’s a fucking nazi.
Go watch the Jim Carrey episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. Not only would he do it to a male interviewer, he’d do it to one of the most successful and powerful comedians in the industry.
Boy are you going to regret asking this question.
You nailed it. Confirmed by a Honda/Acura IMSA/PWC driver Ryan Eversley on Twitter. HART is a factory racing team. These guys are about as legit as you can get.
It’s almost like there are varied and nuanced views held by different writers at Jalopnik... Weird.
but not the macOS version
This is a thing with all turbocharged engines, not just the EcoBoost.
I like lap time records. It’s not the only thing I care about; I’m just glad manufacturers are out there doing it.
But then how would I feel better about myself?
It’s not so much about Turkey not being able to buy the F-35 as it is their expulsion from the program. Turkey was a component supplier for the F-35 program with contracts exceeding the value of the jets they were obligated to purchase.
