Given the focus on lightness, I would presume a much smaller displacement than the 6.5L AMR is developing. Around 4L is a good guess.

All that does is change the mapping between the pedal and the throttle actuator. It doesn’t reduce lag. It gives the illusion of better throttle response, but all it really does is give you a ridiculous on/off throttle that you’ll struggle to moderate once you get into the twisty bits.

The difference is that a Carrera GT is unlikely to go down in value. Yes, the cost of ownership will be higher, but I think the Carrera GT is still the better long term investment. This is a car that will always hold its value due to its timing and position in the Porsche lineage.
