My ex is German. Her story of how difficult it is and how expensive to get a license there made me extremely jealous. If you parallel park and don't open the driver's door with your right hand to get out, you will fail. Using your right makes you look over your shoulder and see cyclists. Just tons of stuff like that.

According to the story, she refused a plea deal that would have given her some shorter sentence because she didn't want to do any time at all. She figured she would take her chances with a jury. She probably came off as very obtuse and unsympathetic.

Now that is just being silly.

You don't know what you're talking about. This is like saying ''she was asking for it'' when a woman gets assaulted because other people are statistically dangerous to her.

You can disagree with someone who is asking an honest - even rhetorical - question without turning it into talk radio.
