The Keep is one of my favorite books ever, but A Visit from the Goon Squad just did not do it for me.

Malazan Book of the Fallen is so good. Much more literary than most fantasy. I'm in my third reading.

Was it just me or was Daenerys's speech pretty much the worst thing of all time?

This was a strangely touching account of what's going on in your life. A++++. Would buy from seller again.

I agree with almost all of these! I find it confusing that a Lynch fan wouldn't enjoy Wild At Heart or Lost Highway, though. Those are great!

That would make my favorite movie The Untouchables, which I'm too scared to even watch again for fear that it sucks. If I limit things to the last 15 years, my favorite movie is either Ghost Dog: Way of the Samurai or Chunking Express. Those make a lot more sense to me, since they don't have Kevin Costner in them.

Full support for including Rush in the first list. They're no Bachmann Turner Overdrive!

There were definitely good parts. I wouldn't deny that. But the pacing and overall plotting were a mess. Just spinning in circles for hundreds of pages. I'm not sure I'd call the Tyrion stuff okay, though.

The last two books were awful, and anyone who claims otherwise is suffering from Stockholm Syndrome.

Needs a stronger shoulder pad game.

Ugh, I cringe every time Martin calls it the "Meerenese Knot". You wrote yourself into a corner, guy. We already have an expression for that. I just used it.

I wanted that to be a true story so much.

Why would seasoning be salt free!?

It had god damned better be called The Shining Star.

Cincinnati isn't my favorite place in the world, but there's some fun stuff around UC on Short Vine! Drive up to Dayton every once in a while to visit the Neon Movies and get drinks at The Trolley Stop!

Wow. Who was that douchebag giving the most hollow, faux-profound introduction on that Grammy video? That was something else.

The Dead Boys figure fairly prominently in Please Kill Me, which is just an incredible book.

I use that as my name on other sites!

I feel like people didn't pay more attention to Pedestrian Verse because Frightened Rabbit is a known quantity at this point. Just one of my favorite albums in recent memory. The Woodpile and Dead Now are two amazing songs that I still listen to all the time.

I'm fairly confident that Swift's foreign policy would be extremely hawkish.
