I hated PE too. However, my dislike was due to it simply being “recruitment” for the football coaches. The vast majority of time, we played sports that kids could already play for the school: football, basketball, hockey (floor-not-ice).

There’s no such thing as too much time spent thinking about theoretical planetary ecologies.

Not helping matters is a languid AI that’s content to merely exist alongside the player, occasionally popping up for a chat/threat but most of the time happy to just take up space on the map.

Nah, Goldeneye and Shadows of the Empire were the shit.

Mount and Blade 2:  Bannerlord

Well we aren’t always on at the same time and I’ve still definitely enjoyed going solo. It’s fun coming across other players even if they don’t often talk back.

Same, except I have no friends, so I'm rocking it solo.

I got Fallout 76 and Fallout 76 got me. I don’t care that there’s a lot of hate for this game, it has me hooked! Going through it with some good friends :)

“Well folks, you may recall that Olaf Meadbeard locked himself in the bullpen back in the third inning. It’s the top of the seventh, so he should be emerging shortly.”

By my math, an initial 1k, plus 2k per year for 18 years, you’d need about 3.3% interest to hit 50k. Not too unreasonable.

That makes some sense. If you figure you get about 50% DNA from each parent, then that’s 25% for grandparents, 12.5% for third generation, 6.25% for fourth, 3.125% for fifth. Now figure that 99.9% of your DNA is common to all humans, and only 0.003125% of your DNA is uniquely from a specific fifth generation ancestor.

Ew you played Doom with a mouse?

Those numbers aren’t really indicative of user facing updates like video games that do updates. Minor vs Major releases of the firmware probably has more to do with the underlying components, new DB schema/version, new protocols, new security updates that updated major third party components that needed to be

I know nobody will talk about this, because it isn’t sensational, but the shots from this “shooting” were from a BB gun.

Took me a few years, but I finally beat that level. Was a bit rough, but I’m hoping the skills and xp I gained along the way will help with the stage I’m starting now: married life. Going to be spending the weekend laying the groundwork for a pretty important side-quest, spouse’s immigration.

Probably Life on master mode: Not going back to a terrible ex despite the fact that I have no one to hang out with, am broke and have nothing going on in my life except a mostly dead Twitch stream... Or maybe I’ll just play Hollow Knight and drink all weekend.

Great news. Subnautica is an amazing and underplayed gem and unknown world’s is an incredible developer. Both talented and honest - open. Only decently large Dev I’ve seen open up their scrum board and work with the players for years without barrier.

Yep.  I would add Heroes and Dietland to that list.

We don’t hate women, not all of us, we just hate the awkward double standard. Beat a woman at a sport and its expected, lose to one and you are ridiculed. Let her pass you and you get called out for being to easy on them, give a hard tackle and you are bullying. It is a no-win situation for men.
