Well, you’re making a bit of a leap about how the convention will go. It’s a possibility, but I’d say it’s far from guaranteed. Nevada is the only example I’m aware of where such a thing happened (and they didn’t burn anything down, I’ll note). So, it’s just as likely that it’s just a result of Nevada being a

Nah. I doubt the majority (although maybe the loudest) of Bernie’s supporters would need much convincing to support Hillary over Trump. She has the advantage of running against someone who is the antithesis of rational behavior. So, all she has to do is give a nod to the fact that almost half of the Democrats’ support

The problem is we have a two party system, where one party is rather conservative, and the other is rather moderate. Liberals end up having to compromise twice. Once by supporting a party with a platform significantly removed from their preferences, and a second time when that party needs to compromise with the other

She didn’t get the nomination yet. I’m sure he will endorse her and vote for her... after the convention. Until then, he’s still an important message candidate and leverage for liberals to pull the Democratic party to the left.

Nader didn’t run as a Dem in 2000. Bernie isn’t running a third party bid now. Sooo.... no real relation, here. After the convention we can work on unifying, with the winner (Hillary) needing to adjust platform whatever way will work to get the general vote. In this case, I’m betting the best way to get the general

There’s still a whole lot of parents out there who aren’t teaching these things to their kids, and probably raising hell any time someone else even considers doing it for them.

Never played the original, but enjoyed the remake two generations back.

Aw, come now, ‘mounting’ would have been far better than ‘climbing’. Everyone knows that this achievement is known as mounting the D.

Fascinating. I haven’t read any form of the Iliad myself. I do have to assume that is more of a product of the times.

Exactly. Imagine how painful it would be to read a story that named literally every student and staff member in a 1000 student school. Even just naming all 35 students in one class and house would be ugly and result in constantly wondering “who is so-and-so again?” You have to limit named characters in a story to what

“English public schools are private”

Maybe I’m odd, but I can’t imagine having a problem with someone I’ve reached boyfriend/girlfriend stage touching my genitals pretty much any time anywhere. If I’m cuddling my girlfriend on the couch, and she pokes my boner, I might look quizzically at her, but that’s about it. So I was confused by this as well.

Since when does a $15 minimum wage, national single payer healthcare, free college tuition, and regulating Wall Street focus almost exclusively on middle class white people? Middle class aren’t going to be helped much by raising minimum wage, and most of them already have healthcare. The rest helps everybody. So,

To be fair, our nation was founded by people who got violent when they pointed out that the rules weren’t fair and were ignored when attempting to address them peacefully.

That and a respectable height. Nothing will shrivel your balls and send a shiver up your spine like leaning forward slightly to wipe your hindquarters and feeling your tip take a dive, because some designer of toilets somewhere underestimated the need for clearance between the seat and the water line. *shiver*

Ok, but when the thread inevitably has a frayed end that doesn’t fit through the eye of the needle, how do you lick your finger and twirl the thread to straighten it out?

That’s annoyed me as well though. It seems backwards from how things should/would normally be done. Why not get their back end in order first, and then roll out the new POS readers? That way customers don’t just get used to the things being there but not working and constantly having to guess which to go for.

I’ve never heard of or experienced getting bank charges when using a debit card as debit with PIN in a store. That sounds more like an issue with a specific bank taking advantage of its customers. Has anyone else experienced this? And if so, what banks are doing it?

3/6 There were five Stark kids plus Jon Snow.

Nonsense, it’s no question at all. 100 duck-sized horses, every time. Do you know how big a horse is? A horse sized duck would murder you so fast. Meanwhile, duck sized horses could be menacing (those bitty hoofs would probably pack a nasty little punch, and a bitty horse bite would probably hurt) but you’d at least
