    Now playing

I was extremely pleased back in 2013, after noted shithead Brandon Meriweather concussed Eddie Lacy. A few plays later his replacement, James Starks, flat out head hunted Meriweather (who was again leading with his head) and knocked him out of the game. Given his history, I wasn’t bothered in the least.

I remembered the “good guy with a gun” aspect when Will brought it up in the article, and recalled reading up on it in some publication or another. Other than that, I basically forgot all about it.  Chasing the guy down and shooting him was pretty remarkable.

    Well, he was an expert.

    When.

Rich? I mean, I'm here for the bashing. But I'm not sure this is the bashing.

It is the most disappointing Zach Lowe article that I can remember.  But I did click.  So did you.  Shame on us!

You decided to make this point really aggressively while ignoring the second half of starry night’s post. Since he already made his points well enough in his own response, I won’t repeat them. but you may want to slow down a little bit before calling someone a “basketball idiot."

I’ve always thought that Trump went crazy over NFL players kneeling at least in part because Vince was, around the same time, announcing a renewed XFL.

He’s within spitting distance of Tim Brown for fifth pace all time in all purpose yards. Probably can’t get there this year. He'll have to come back for another round.

    He looked really tough though!

Proving attempted crimes can be as difficult as those that require specific intent. But given the recording... why not give it shot? I understand it’s a tactical call whether to then also charge the lesser crime, but if you are giving up attempted murder in any event, I just don't get it. Offer the jury the assault

I used legends to drive home the point that this guy is just getting started. Saying he can’t shoot (and implying that would be his only offensive contribution when he has shown he can get to the rim and pass quite well) just doesn’t make sense to me.

I think RJ is the safer choice.  I think Zion has the greater

And defensively, he’s got the tools to be better than a whole bunch of fours and fives already in the league. He'll never be great on that end, I don't think, but can be serviceable.

Here’s a guy whose wrongness should be out of the grays. For posterity.

This is really mean.  I like it.

    Are we going with massive?

Looks to be a common experience, based on these threads. I was in Chicago

    You said it, man.

I wonder if we were at the same wedding.  Except, you said “a few years ago,” and I would say “last year.”

For this reason and that, I was asked to sort of speak and host a remembrance for my deceased uncle this year.  It was interesting considering exactly what to say, the right forms to follow, etc., without it being at all religious.  I worked through it, but I think most people still see religion as the way to send
