Or bears! Or fast moving cars! Or ledges you may fall off of! Or in places in the ocean where waves are big! Or on a skateboard ramp! YOU MAY DIE
Coming up on 20 years ago (time flies), an older gent killed a similar-sized cat with a small knife.
Advice my father gave me after my then-girlfriend and I ran into a bear on a walk. It did the whole “woof before it charges” thing, which was pretty scary. He suggested I had nothing to worry about.
I like this.
Sometimes, all you have is all you have. I watched some show on a guy introducing tigers to Africa, hoping to find them private land where they could thrive given the numbers problems in Asia. Anyways, he was wrestling around with a young tiger he knew well, and took the opportunity to say that if a tiger ever has you…
It really it really would not strike me as odd, no. I didn’t click through. But the other thing I would say is that none of it seems like a big deal at all. A whole lot of concern over virtually nothing.
My last backpacking trip I started out with 22 pounds. The one before, 34. Those are not oddly specific numbers. They are just the numbers. This seems like a lot of angst over possibly nothing.
I agree. But I hope we’re wrong.
Perhaps it is just me, but I would like to know which side first brought up tickets in the negotiation process.

I frequent Deadspin and other places where sports media happens, and I’d be lucky to name 20 MLB players.
Korver and Thompson are both very game. They are also limited, however.
Powers questions are interesting, consequential, and dare I say on the rare occasion even exciting. I will brook no argument to the contrary!
LeBron basically said as much after the finals last year, right?
Agree, though I think Monsignor Burneko touched on it.
I agree with all of this. Two additional things:
At the very least, Capela will have to show that he is capable of being a thorn in the side of Green and Durant the way he was for Towns/Gibson and the Utah bigs. He sure seemed pedestrian last night. Not bad... just not making a huge difference.
Bear in mind that Cleveland’s defense is essentially trash. The Celtics had a tough time with Milwaukee because the Milwaukee defense is not trash. The offense is. Either Houston or Golden State would have a whole lot more to throw at Celtics guards and give them trouble, and that’s where Kyrie could also be huge.
