It's a little late in the season to start preserving babies.
My dog would bounce up and flip that kid right on his ass if he tried stepping on my dog's back. And my Akira loves kids and is as stupid as a rock. But ain't no kid standing on his spine either.
I get what you're saying and I don't think her neglecting to teach her child right from wrong was in any way malicious. I don't think most people are saying it was *malicious*, they're saying it was fucking stupid and dangerous. Which I completely agree with.
If your son with autism stood on your doberman would you…
Yes, I completely agree. My dogs are used to my children. This is in no way ok, she should tech her son that for sure. As a parent, you sometimes don't realize the (seemingly) harmless allowances we give kids behaviorally, that could be problematic. Definitely better to be proactive.
He's lucky not to have hurt the dog by stepping on it, seeing as he weighs about as much as it does. So not great to teach Trig anyway...

I always felt that Ewan McGregors Obi-Wan, along with Natalie Portmans Amidala was casting done perfectly. In many ways, Ewan McGregor feels more like Obi-Wan than Alec Guinness, although I felt in love with him first.
I thought he was the protagonist. Anakin is the fallen hero.
To me he always was the protag.
I'm really starting to believe in the theory that the prequels would be much better movies if the main protagonist was on Obi-Wan, not Anakin. Through thick and thin, I don't think he ever stopped being a bad ass.
