I’ve been to pug meetups with dozens of pugs, and annual Pug Galas with HUNDREDS. Never saw a fight.

My late pug loved to swim - I’m pretty sure all the attention he got from astonished onlookers was part of the reason why! :-)

I had a friend-with-very-rare-benefits in my early 20s who I was infatuated with. When he would talk me into buying something to “improve myself” I would secretly think of it as a present from him.

Best of luck to you on all of it. That’s a hard situation to be in - you will feel SO MUCH BETTER when you have the power/income to be able to CHOOSE whether or not to stay in the relationship on its/his own merits.
