EXACTLY. I used to be ~6 months until I got SSD’s (1 for OS and 1 for games) and that helped to curb the issue so now I’m 8-12 months. Also when I was doing it at 6 months I had an SCCM environment setup at home so reimaging was a piece of cake. I still have SCCM, but right now it’s running as a Hyper-V instance on

Wow, I’m shocked... happy. My work is cheap and only buys the cheapest possible Windows Phone sooooo my Nokia Lumia 735 better get ready!!

That isn’t entirely true though - while I get your point it doesn’t take into account other factors. Yes, it’s probably mostly safe to assume your average console player didn’t know what a mod is and would not have made a the decision to purchase based on that. BUT, you have to look at those 12 million units and

You know... It would actually be pretty cool if Bethesda added the ability to have multiple saves/character per world. Then I could have 1 character be my traditional ‘Good guy’ and I could have my bad character and so forth. Then I could switch back and forth. And being able to add characters at will part way through

Insane is right - probably the best way I describe it to people is that I had some friends of mine who played it exclusively on console. I fired up my ~185 mod setup... they said if they didn’t know any better they would have thought it was a entirely different game... which is actually pretty damn accurate.

I’m ok with this. While I love the TES serious sooooo much, it’s getting a bit stale, even with mods. I’m hoping the extra time will allow for more improvements beyond just visuals. I’d like to see them shift/expand their current open world formula which is not bad, but I think many of us are ready for more than the

So Marcus, who is falsely accused of a crime, will go around committing actual crime in order to successfully prove he’s innocent?

Agreed. Plus as a PC player with mods, a ‘remaster’ seems moot point. Would be nice for console players to get to do it assuming they got mod support of course.

Likely extremely true, but that’s not the point. The point is to get hired :)

OMFG yes

Holy fuck this sounds TERRIFYING

Yep, that’s me exactly right now, I don’t need a new job so I’m going to be picky and get what I want

Always wanted to use this one...

If you’re a Prime member those ‘Prime’ items are usually free returns. Third party returns are the worst.

Other than “forget everything you think you know” cliche, I thought it was pretty awesome. Definitely looking forward to it.

Little disappointing it’s on 60hz, but if you only plan on watching TV on it or playing PS4/XBone then that’s not really an issue.

Going to add some things about general self-defense, with some of it applying to defense against a weapon:

Yes, that’s actually often recommended because people have a tendency to respond quicker to fire than ‘omg he has a knife!!!!!!!!!’ Most people are going to not want any part of that

Maybe, but not if you incorporated is into part of your already increased breathing rate. In fact, depending how you breath under duress, it might cause you to expend more CO2 and take in more useful O2. As you allude to at the end of your post - situation awareness is your best defense, PERIOD.

It actually is a really good idea to make as much noise as you possibly can. It may draw help to you, or even make your assailant second guess what they’re doing and getting themselves into.
