If ever a movie needed to be in high frame rate - THIS is fucking it. Especially given the size of a theater screen.

Been doing this stuff for 22 years now and... yep, 100% agreed with all of that.

Just bite the bullet and do a clean install, you’ll be so glad you did :)

100% Agreed. Now if we could put a moratorium on desktop monitors 27" or greater with 1920x1080 that would be great. Really need to up the standard to at least 2560x1440. Now, 24" and below, sure FHD is sufficient.

Back when I drove an hour or more 1 way to work, I loved how long the sun was still out (which is pretty long since I’m somewhat close to the Eastern/Central time zone border). Now that I work from home... I love it more :)

Lot of comments so hopefully it’s already been said by somebody, but personally I thought she was pretty if not prettier before the makeup and stuff. Good for her for doing what felt right for her, and I hope it serves her well!

I’m lucky, I get a good amount of emails each day but I seem to have no problem keeping a quick an eye on it and responding as needed. Most emails don’t need my response let alone my attention so I typically mark those as ‘Read’ (because I’m neurotic) and read/respond to the ones I need to whenever is convenient.

Right, and to be honest I felt like their overall reaction was super delayed. Makes me thing he/she wasn’t even paying attention to the car right literally in front of their face and then saw break lights and just panicked/overreacted

Back when I actually had to ‘go’ somewhere to work, I always took the stairs when I could. The last place I was at allowed me the opportunity to take 10 flights of stairs right off the bat to get to my floor. Throughout the day I would intentionally do more stairs just to break up the day. By the time I left, I was

+1 for your correct spelling of the word/sound ‘eeyiz’

Nicely done on such a great raise! That was my exact experience too. I didn’t need a new job, in fact, I was probably moving up some in the job I was in, but it wasn’t enough and I didn’t want to wait for what I really wanted. My biggest regret was not asking for more out of the gate because they gladly gave me what I

Yeah, those moments when you FUBAR your OS and have no recourse except to rebuild from scratch suck. I once had to backup data to a 2nd drive from the Windows install disk which is clunky as hell. I’m lucky enough to be able to use SCCM to image at home and reinstall my apps (yes, I’m a nerd).

I use abacus at work and am not thrilled. Is much rather have stone tablet.

When I saw that picture I thought, for a split second, that one of them was coping a feel

You beat me to it :(

Obligatory:

You know what, you’re absolutely correct, my apologies. Once I read your first sentence I face-palmed myself and remembered how many mods I’ve used that tweak animations/skeleton/rigging/textures and meshes/etc (which you go on to mention), which clearly means it’s not a function of the engine.

And over the years it’s been stabilized quite a bit. Morrowind crashed all the time, Oblivion did too. But Skyrim and now FO4 simply don’t crash. Skyrim did a little bit, but once I disabled autosave it never ever did again. Literally NEVER. And with Skyrim this was with ~185 various mods. But yeah, it shows it’s age

That was a fun read - wish we saw more movie and gaming music articles more often (hint hint). Music plays a huge part of the experience for movies and games for me.

Any word on ‘official’ mod support? Was hoping to hear something about that by now. Awesome stuff has already been done (not surprisingly), but it’d be really nice to have the tools for some things.
