Awesome car. Just saw one for sale the other day - it never occurred to me that it would make such a stunning phaeton. I would want to weld the entire body shut, weld in a roll cage, and strip out all but one or two of the seats, in the vain hope that cowl shake could be eliminated, but dang - that is a great car!

Bangle is the best designer working in the industry today. That is a great concept. It is good that BMW is getting back to its WWI aircraft roots - its got the spinning propellor emblem on the front and now a cloth covered airframe. Throw in a radial engine and it would peg the awesomeness meter.

It's all relative - a non-XL Expedition is a compact car compared to many other vehicles out there. Park one next to Neil Young's Continental - you'll see what I mean.
