The bouncing/moving part still attached to the airplane via the static line is called the deployment bag. The parachute starts out packed into that bag and the combination of the deployment bag and static line are on the soldier’s back. That is what you normally think of as the “parachute” when you see soldiers…
No AAD for military static line jumps. We often exited the aircraft at 1200 ft or less.

Unless of course it’s a Japanese saw which, while it also cuts in one direction only, cuts on the opposite stroke from what we consider to be a “normal” saw.
Many of the new cordless chainsaws have a chain tension hand dial located at the base of the bar which makes tightening the chain an even easier task.
I’m sure it will be at least as good as Duke Nukem!
