This will be problematic if you have an OEM licensed copy of XP since Microsoft does not allow transferring of those licenses to new hardware. When you move it to a VM XP thinks this is new hardware. From the reviews I've read it looks like Handcent doesn't handle MMS right now. That's a deal breaker for me.
As an Amazon seller, "Warehouse Deals" has a pretty questionable rating. I think its 88% today. This pretty much tells me that you are not the only one who feels that warehouse deals are less than stellar.
