Now I just need another Sopranos rewatch podcast with Big Pussy and Johnny Sack. AND THEN another with Georgie the Bing bartender and whoever this character was

I certainly could be misremembering his characterization, as it’s been a while since I read the second and third books of that trilogy. I thought there was a declining quality to the sequels after American Tabloid. What did you think?

Yes he was a prolific figure and major player in MLKs movement. Ellroy didn't do him justice (from what I remember, in the books he is just a plaything in Hoovers COINTELPRO agenda). I had to read more about him after.

Ive done some research since this, but My first exposure to Bayard Rustin was as a character in James Ellroy's Underworld USA trilogy. Make of that what you will.

Without a doubt. I also think Do The Right Thing is a tad overrated. He Got Game is underrated as well.

“X" is his best, but I appreciate "Bamboozled" for its audaciousness. "The Inside Man" is also up there.

This is great but most of these celebrities are blameless. I thought racism was the sole responsibility of Aaron Paul.

The Jerk Store called, and they’re runing out of you!

I just looked up Dino Ironbody in the dictionary, and it defined him as "asshole".

They weren't actually racing to win see, they were racing for state's rights.

Is “losers of the race” a pun? Cuz if so, I’m loving it

We are at a crossroads. Biden isn’t a strong candidate.  And Trump needs to be voted out regardless.  You have no arguments here brother.

Actually his Justice Department put in place consent decrees for many police departments from cities with historically bad policing records. Trump’s Justice Department did away with them. And unlike our current occupant of the White House (and probably you yourself), actually experienced first-hand racism from police

My bad, I misread your reply. Yea I guess with Benghazi and Jack Ryan and A Quiet Place (“know your role woman and shut up!”), you could argue that it not so muuch in the closet.  However, I read somewhere he donates to Elizabeth Warren, so I think he tries to somewhat cover it up.

Yea right, because Benghazi was totally a liberal-rallying point, not a conservative one. *rolls eyes*

That kind of reinforces my point.

I posted about this in another discussion thread, but I concur.  He is a closet Republican.

wait...Skeet x Scoot?  That sounds of like the nexus of the universe.

I thought his real name was Billy Loomis.

BASEBALL?!  You just made it happen again! *changes pants for second time today*
