My dad has a theory on Trump supporters. They don’t want to admit that they made a mistake; that their judgment is bad; therefore, they will defend Trump no matter what; otherwise it would be admitting to their own gullibility and bad judgment.

We can’t rely upon the Justice Dept or the FBI to do their job and investigate Trump; we can’t rely on the republican led congress; it’s really up to investigative journalists to uncover corruption and crimes (and risk jail time to do so).

The only problem I have with the “impeachment” theory is that congressional republicans are soulless snakes that will look the other way no matter what Trump does.
