I commented the same thing before I saw yours. That press conference thoroughly pissed me off.

That whole bit he did about how “if you’re under 15, change the channel” was the most theatrical horseshit I’ve ever seen. It was infuriating.

Wow. That’s fucked up.

The Pajiba piece is a sloppy hatchet job that’s being shared everywhere as “the rest of the story” and used as the basis for many other pieces, along with the statements of the corrupt sexual predator, Ken Kratz.

Thanks for this. Also, the “restraints” were fuzzy pink mass market sex toys. Not what Brendan “described.” We only disagree in that I feel strongly that he’s probably actually innocent. There were better suspects as well.

his dna on the key was presented, and further assuming the defense attorneys weren’t lying his dna was The ONLY dna on the key none of the victim’s dna was anywhere to be found on the key

No. But they pretty clearly planted evidence and never looked at other suspects like the people in her life or other members of the Avery family that had clear access. Things happened like they checked his bedroom several times and found nothing and then SUDDENLY a key to her car was found in plain sight in the middle

i think the defense’s theory was that someone killed/burned her somewhere off the avery property and then dumped her remains & car there, presumably with the knowledge that steven would be the primary suspect

Personally, I think there are other options than Avery did it or the cops did it. I think his brother(s) and that other guy who worked there and I think married Stevens first wife, deserved some scrutiny. Could be they did it and got lucky when the cops took the opportunity to make sure Steven took the fall for it.

At this point, if Avery was granted a new trial, no matter where the trial was held it would be biased. He never should have been convicted to begin with and even if you think he committed the murder, the evidence didn’t 100% prove that he did.

I’m loitering around the Making a Murderer subreddit (yes, I have a problem) and from what I understand, two or three of the jurors had ties to the Manitowoc police department (through marriage, etc.). Strang and Buting only had six vetoes during jury selection and used them on other candidates who they thought would

He really probably believes that he did no wrong. In his mind, they both made mistakes, they both hurt each other.

Shit...can’t spell today.

...And don’t misunderstand me...most launches don’t have a dip...it is an indication of extenuating factors (some of which I described) that instigate it.

Er, that’s an OFFICIAL state letterhead and letter.

Uhm, that’s an OFFICIAL letter and it doesn’t get any more official than that.

After the Italians caved and gave in to Bernie, I’m beginning to expect Texas will do the same. It’s nice that F1 has a foothold in the States and near my home to boot, but I stand by my belief that this problem was created by governments ponying up the absurd hosting fees in the first place. Afraid that Bernie will

Haha!

US ton is not the same as imperial ton (2,000lbs vs 2,240lbs). Same for gallons—imperial is 1.2 times the amount of liquid as US.

Can we get a note in the article where the "HISTORIC BRIDGE" is located? Paoli? Come on. Journalism. :(
