Oh fuck off. Where did I say my being an ally was conditional? If you genuinely believe I’m wrong or said something you disagree with, why are you stretching to hard to put words in my mouth?

I’m not personally offended. Are we not allowed to participate in internet discussions now without being accused of being offended or playing the victim? You can fuck right the fuck off with that bullshit.
Because those are concrete ways I’m personally working toward social justice.
Voting for POC.
Drawing a line directly between “all white people benefit from white privilege” and “all white people are racist” is at best an incomplete argument, and at worst it’s fundamentally wrong.
I didn’t fire her, nor would I have cared if she remained employed, so I’m not sure what I’m saying can accurately be described as being “overly sensitive”.
She can be raw. She just can’t be raw and employed as a commercial spokesperson.
nice virtue signaling you’ve got there fellow white person 🤦♂️
sigh
I’m not asking for a prize.
Nobody’s asking for a list.
What the fuck are you talking about?
Oh so I’m “tone policing”? That whole “first amendment doesn’t protect you from consequences of speech” is just for racist republicans I guess.
Her anger and frustration is 100% justified. I just think it’s misplaced.
I’m not offended by her post. I can criticize it and agree that it’s problematic as the spokesperson for a consumer goods company without being offended by it.
Yah it’s super helpful and good to paint people who support social justice and racial equality with the exact same broad brush used for actual racist shitbags marching with torches.
Nothing is lost from her message by leaving out “YES ALL WHITE PEOPLE”. In fact, that’s the sentence that derailed her message.
I’m white and I benefit from white privilege. I spend a lot of time thinking about social justice and how I, as a white person, can do my part to fight systemic problems and look for solutions. I vote for candidates that support racial equality, criminal justice reform, etc.
I’m not whining about the calling out of white supremacy.
