I noticed that bizarre little namecheck too. I wonder if he realizes just how Orwellian he and his party are.

In all fairness that’s basically his P&R character in a nutshell.

Exactly. The seat in my truck has a similar piece of plastic trim on the side of it that holds the power seat controls. Every time my dog jumps up in the truck he uses it as a foothold, but in the event that it breaks I’m not going to complain to GM about it.

I love this. He’s honestly kind of overrated to begin with but he’s so pretentiously obnoxious on top of it that it makes it really hard to like him.

It’s not the seat that’s broken, it’s the trim on the side of it. No amount of reengineering is appropriate because that part is not meant to have your body weight applied to it.

At that point I think we can safely call them “dollars”.

I think Bannon believes he’s part of a silent majority, or at least a large group of Americans who feel the same way he does. He seems to want to consolidate as much power as possible so that he can weather the storm that will surely come from Trump voters once the honeymoon period is over and we’re not all magically

That’s literally the reason Bannon and Trump are going forward with it. They want to stick their dick in the eye of the establishment.

2018 is a distraction and a waste of time. The only thing that matters right now is retaking state governments before the 2020 census and subsequent redistricting.

This is an awesome troll even your mother would be proud of.

Not only is she unqualified but why are democrats not crowing about her pay-for-play? Of all Trump’s nominees, she’s the one so far who seems most like she blatantly bought her nomination. At least Carson and some of the others can claim some political loyalty to Trump.

I have to believe Leslie Knope has inspired real life girls into government service. It’s just so good and earnest and funny at the same time.

Before the iPhone (released in 2007, mind you) people though $600 was an insane sum for a cell phone. Hell before the iPhone we thought paying $200 for a carrier-subsidized flagship phone was an insane sum.

Even shitty democrats don’t think women should be punished for seeking an abortion.

Why would a democrat waste time and money traveling to Jackson (population less than 10,000), when they could pick up 10,000 votes with an extra trip around the block in Los Angeles? I mean, I’m being hyperbolic but do you see what I’m saying?

I live in a big city too, but fundamentally I believe there are perspectives and ideas of value to be found in more sparsely-populated areas, too. Cities don’t have a monopoly on that.

I’m saying it is fundamentally unfair to give voters in less densely populated states a larger voice than voters in any other state. One man, one vote should be the goal.

You should seriously seek counseling.

How about not setting “ethics aside” in romantic relationships with people we care about?

What movie did you get this idea from? You think banks and dealerships just have vast warehouses storing extra keys for the millions of cars sold each year?
