I also still appreciate the original Mercedes ML for being an actual BOF luxury SUV, and also the FX45 for being an interesting take on competing with the Cayenne as a sport car. Today it’s all just me-too stuff.
Yup. See my other comment...
I’m a French speaker so it bothered me that it would be called what essentially means “wooden wall.” But as other commenters mentioned it’s an LA thing called the Pacific Palisades.
A lot of propositions, congressional races, and local elections come down to the wire. Just because we’re a democratic shoe-in with the governor, senate, and presidential elections, doesn’t mean there aren’t close elections. So big a state does not make it monolithic. You go into the high Sierras, San Bernardino,…
Let this be a cautionary tale for networks: former Fox News hosts are toxic. Even if they truly were just faking ignorance while on the network (and the blackface incident suggests she wasn’t), the taint of being a propagandist stays on them. Normal people want nothing to do with them, and the zombies who watch that…
Extras from a Guy Ritchie movie?
I still love to walk up on my C30 in a parking lot and see how great it looks from just about every angle. I never thought I would ever have people stop me and ask about my Volvo but I am regularly approached by people asking what it is.

Funny how that works. You incrementally gain performance, yet give up tactility, compact size and low weight. Then the newest, fattest thing hits the road and suddenly the old fat heavy one looks pretty attractive, especially well into its depreciation curve.
Everyone on this thread is the worst.
Luxury items do not have to be bespoke, and bespoke items often aren’t luxurious. A luxury item has no requirement to be artistic, while plenty of true art is about as far from luxurious as it gets.
Dude I can barely sleep in my own bed after a long day.
I’m always amazed by the type of person who just can’t wait to get the the comment section of these types of articles so they can detail just how stupid the victim is, hand-wave the predatory nature of the lender/bank/dealership and gush about how they would never have fallen for a scheme like that. I can never tell…
It costs a great deal of money to be poor in America.
