East of Toyota:

I happen to love the i3, but BMW as a whole is in a truly bizarre place. It’s like they’re building exactly the same kinds of cars they were building a decade ago, just slightly softer for no added benefit. I would understand more if there were some kind of compromise being made, but ???

After talks with Toyota on co-development of a new small car platform that could underpin the next-gen Mini foundered... BMW is turning eastwards to save Mini from extinction.

I am totally in love with the idea of a two door Range Rover. Makes me wonder what might have been had Land Rover taken a similar tack to Mercedes and just pushed and prodded the 70s Range Rover into quasi-modernity.

But so are PSA.

The C6 was a gorgeous car. ...That’s all I’ve got.

Check-in surcharge! It’s where the scales are, anyway.

Maybe you’re thinking RC F? I was referring to the F version of this:

The LC F hasn’t come out yet.

In the broadest sense, the absence of a safety feature is not really an adequate defense, though. People win successful lawsuits to bring about change all the time.

I’m not sure how they would make the argument that this is any different than the driver hitting a concrete pillar of a parking structure.

Not crude at all! But I happen to find the car with Swarovski headlights and illuminated badges the more tacky of the two.

Yeah, this seems less like they’re trying to encourage people to go annual and more that they realized the monthly service was more popular than they had anticipated.
