He said if MLB wanted to set a precedent to change how the rule was enforced, when everyone is watching was a good time. That is not the same as saying Utley should be suspended. You’re also ignoring, again, Burke who came out directly against the suspension.

Yep! Petchesky said if they wanted to set a precedent, when everyone was watching was a good time to do so. He never said they should. He never said Utley was bad. And Burke’s post was specifically about how the suspension was bad. So, no narrative pushing for a suspension.

No Deadspin writer said Utley should be suspended. No Deadspin writer said Utley was bad.

Awww....honey, you try so hard, bless your little heart.

Ahhh....so you’re an idiotic fucking troll. Quite noticeable that I directly linked to that post a while ago, but you’re only now attempting to twist it to fit your narrative because you recognize how stupid your entire argument is, but won’t admit.

You said there was a Deadspin narrative that Utley was “bad” and “should have been suspended.” In support of this, you have cited one quote from one Deadspin writer that says Utley technically violated the rule. That same writer also said the rule wasn’t really a rule because it was never enforced. That same writer als

Because he was clearly attempting to interfere with Tejada’s attempt to turn the double play. By the very letter of the rule it is technically illegal. However, that rule is (1) a judgment call and (2) never enforced to rule a play like that illegal, even though it could be.

One Deadspin writer said the slide was illegal according to the strict letter of the rule. That is 100% accurate. The same writer said, because the rule was never enforced that way, it wasn’t really a rule. That is also accurate.

Got it. Here’s a quote from you:

Sure!

The stupid. My god, the stupid!

Haha, what narrative, idiot?

Let the goodness of this Kinja wash over you.

If 29 teams were contracted and the Wizards were the only team left, Durant still wouldn’t go to them.

Could be! I’ve never been able to understand Canadians with their flapping heads.

So she said “11 or 11:30" would be her ideal time slot. Fox Sports Live airs from 11-11:30. Seems like there is a perfectly reasonable way to accommodate both programs without O’Toole accusing Nolan of aiming to take his job and starve his kids based on a passing reference to an ideal time slot.

What?

Whoa, what?

What the fuck? I hate this country sometimes. I have done three things at work this morning more “objectionable” than give a guy condoms. In what world is that a black mark on one’s career? What he should be ashamed of is giving a grown ass man Fruit Roll-Ups. TIME TO LEAVE CHILDISH THINGS BEHIND, LUDA!

Right, but being “part of an organization” that does something immoral and vociferously defending those who do something immoral are two different things.
