Clueless for me. just coz i'm kinda sad how Alicia Silverstone's career panned out.

i can see why they edited down much of Charlize's character's scenes, since the focus of the movie should be on the band and Liv Tyler's character. in the theatrical edit, once you find out that the dentist is a hunk, you know how that story beat is gonna go.

i tested out the PlayStation VR at a demo booth today. they had Batman VR running. the coolest part was when you've already put on the bat-suit and cowl and is just looking at a reflection of "yourself" and Batman is staring back at you. so, i'll always be my favourite Batman actor.

i watched a midnight screening of Shin Godzilla so the talky bits didn't help prevent me from dozing off (there was one gag with three experts that was quite funny). but i did wake up just in time to see the big plan to stop Godzilla being implemented, which was delightfully silly-looking in its CGI but makes perfect…

i borrowed a few Marvel comics trade paperbacks from the library: a Daredevil, a Captain Marvel and one i wasn't familiar with, The Fearless Defenders.

remember that part in Ep.6 where the stormtroopers just knocked on the door of the building where the two droids were hiding in? yeah this is like that.

i like it. Justin Lin has got a good eye and visual storytelling flair. do want more. but, how will they address Anton Yelchin's situation? just an actor swap like Terrence Howard/Don Cheadle's Rhoadie?

might close out the boss recruitment maps now that i'm post-game in Fire Emblem: Awakening of the Fell Dragon Grima by The Blessed Union of Souls MyUnit and Say'ri (should have had a late-minute twist where you CAN choose to be eviiiiiiiilllllllll). have to say, i really enjoyed the game once i dove right back into it…

OG Deus Ex…. i enjoyed OldManMurray's "Start to Crate" score for that one.

i'm gonna miss the old wak once he's no longer around. to arsenal is now in the daily vernacular, as is the "Arsene Wenger Trophy".

I finished up Fire Emblem: Awakening's story campaign. On Aversa's map, I Rescue-chained to get my heavy-hitter (Lon'qu) to snuff her in one turn. cheap tactic, yeah, but i just wanted to see how the story closed out. huh. so it's basically Persona 4's ending.

"1% criticals"? talk about being clutch.

watched it last night. will not watch again. and i love the first three Bourne movies too. (even watched Legacy, if only to see how they'd solve the "No Matt Damon" thing. and also Rachel Weisz. mostly because of Rachel Weisz.)

Picross is just plain neat. wrapping it all around with Pokemon makes it niftier.
