if they wanted to make the Thrawn movies, they'd have to recast everyone since the Thrawn books start off 5 years after ROTJ. Disney clearly wanted to get the nostalgia going hence getting the original cast back. eh, whatever. the books are still there. Disney can purge all the old EU stuff, but the books and stuff…

they released a book set after ROTJ called Aftermath, but i don't know if that book goes into what sets in motion the stuff that happens in TFA, eg. the formation of The First Order, Snoke, etc.

from what i know of both enhanced DeSu games, they added new endgame content and voice acting.

maybe getting through the first part of SMTIV might be tricky, but the game isn't hard at all. being able to save anywhere (of course, you don't have to do that) kinda makes it a breeze. i might have tuned out on the story a bit, but what's there is okay. also SMTIV FINAL (which is a sequel to SMTIV) should be out…
