I’ve noticed there was pavement set up for a shorter, alternate track. I didn’t know that the V8 supercars used it. I’ll have to look it up on YouTube now.

I go to pretty much everything at COTA and the vintage nationals were by far my favorite events last year. The open class was nuts, there were vipers, Mazda endurance racers, a race prepped 05 Ford GT, and a handful of the classic NASCAR and TransAm cars on the track at the same time
It just needs to have the pony in the grill painted black or completely gone and I’d agree that it’s a Bullitt without an official badge. That’s a sweet car BTW
My tiny hometown of 6k people in CenTex had one of these at the local Ford dealer. When I saw it I had a total WTF moment
Nice catch. I could tell something was different but I couldn’t put my finger on it
The 500 in GT500 has nothing to do with engine displacement. It’s just a higher number than 350, which is just the amount of steps from one building to another where Shelby had his buildings
The HotWheels GTs are impossible to find around Central Texas. I finally found one randomly lying around on a shelf at Target after months of looking, but I’m pretty sure no one else in the entire southwest has one
The GT350R-C would like to have a word with you regarding your claims about Mustangs losing races
Same for me but in Grabber Blue
The radio ads for Camrys claiming they are sports cars are obnoxious too! They are like the stupid “sporty Prius” tv ads.
It’s an ‘11 or ‘12. It’s got the 5.0 and mid cycle refresh without the GT500 nose
Thanks! That's exactly what I was looking for
Thanks!
Do you have any links for the track days? I've been searching for COTA track days
I live in the Austin area and have been to a bunch of events at COTA and my GF always complains about it but now she's begging to go just because of Taylor. It was a great idea by the promoter
Totally agree. An American buying a Lamborghini doesn’t make the car American. As far as I can tell it’s basically the same deal here just with development spread around Europe
Man that poster is obnoxious
