"Perhaps more cyclists should read it in an effort to realize exactly how "at risk" they are when they break the law and how easy it is for a driver to get away with hitting, injuring and possibly killing them."

Speed limits are the law, not a suggestion, and they're routinely flouted. Somehow drivers manage to get through the day without screaming at each other for driving above the speed limit (though they will honk at each other when they are driving AT the speed limit).

We'll have to wait and see what the Feds have to say about this incident.

unlike missiles, moving shit through water takes more effort than going through the air.

The math is correct, the assumptions are wrong.

I am limited to 6k per year with insurance. However, I'm on my second insurance company. The first one wanted insane rates, so I ditched them about 2k miles ago.

Bingo!

ALL OF THEM.
