Except kilograms isn’t a unit of weight...

CO drifting Ford’s cooperatively cooperating to destroy tires.... Tires are the enemy. Ford mustang’s and FORS’s are your friend.

Gets pretty humid in Illinois...

I only hope that, since I only drive mine like 3000 miles per year, I’m at lower risk of an issue.

If you track your car a lot, then you must consider certain safety related items to be items that wear and need timely replacement. That said, I believe that Forgestar probably designed these wheels to last longer and that there was probably either damage from off track excursion or there were manufacturing defects

You may have a different perspective than most that watch that video.

I was so upset when Enve had to change their name. My carbon wheels are the new SRAM Rise 60's. They aren’t really that light compared to lightweight aluminum rims...but they are super stiff. Like...noticeably stiff compared to my old Mavic’s.

“Through the Never.”

It’s the same way with mountain bike wheels/tires. I finally found a good way to make wheels last indefinitely...carbon fiber, but ooohhh booyy, the cost. . Tires, though...fill em with Stan’s and hope for the best.

Well in the world of engineering design, we can make anything live as long as you want it to. Now, how much should it weigh?

FYI...not all aftermarket wheels are made equally.

I’d be interested in inspecting the wheel myself. I’d bet there were some material flaws that caused crack initiation.

She looked like she had a reasonable grasp on what she was doing (with the gun) to me. Didn’t look unsafe...had a good single hand grip and was making sure to keep the muzzle end in the direction of the threat.

Fluid mechanics is a freaky science...

I think this guy either blew a tire or broke an axle.

I have a Boss 302...can’t imagine the new RS is more of a driver’s car. I’m curious what point they believe makes it a better drivers car; the electronically controlled differentials carefully calculating what wheels get the power, or the computer controlled drift mode carefully computing what wheels get the spin? I’m

What?!

Steph... You need to catch the next NHRA event that rolls through your neck of the woods. You’d have a blast in the pits.

He could have, also, just been distracted behind the wheel and is using the amnesia defense to escape culpability.

Gotta disagree, Steph. Building a roll cage is not art; it is a very precise task. You have up follow specifications very closely or the cage will not be safe or pass inspection.
