I don’t think it’s exploiting the franchise to make a spin-off with actually a pretty cool premise. I think the Internet reaction to all this is going to look silly when the next main-line Metroid game comes out. With all this complaining and entitlement mentality, I’m not sure we actually even deserve another…

Now I’m just waiting to hear that all the Star Trek fan projects are going the “original science fiction IP” direction to avoid all the crazy stipulations being put on them.

Why are we assuming that on-screen actors are better at voice acting than professional voice actors? It could be true in cases, but I don’t understand the assumption.

So agree. Professional voice actors are the best at what they do, and what they do ain’t pr...I mean, I don’t understand why the industry has to keep undercutting them with more expensive actors (overcutting?) who aren’t as good at voice acting just for the sake of name recognition. It’s maddening, and it’s a waste of…
