Wow. Okay. I’m going to have to dig that one up on amazon Prime now.

Interesting. I’ll need to see that episode. It’s hard for me to imagine Clark so easily giving up his his life as a Kent. In a lot of ways, that’s his real life just as much as his life as Superman is. Not to mention that his adopted family and close friends would likely also need to go into hiding if Clark was found…
Agreed. I like your point about Superman’s identity not actually being relevant to whatever story Clark is reporting on. You’re right that the question of who Superman is is entirely different and separate from the story of whatever happened between Superman and [insert villain/catastrophy/etc.] on X date at X time…
That’s pretty awesome. I also liked how they dealt with Lois finding out Superman’s identity in the Superman: Doomsday animated film. It was based on the Death of Superman storyline in the comics, so I’m sure that had some interesting chemistry too.
Truth.
lol @ involving yourself in your own story. Selfie reporting!
Aside from the difficulty Clark would no-doubt have inventing a new life after the real one he’s lived his whole life is destroyed, I feel like you’re kind of right in a sense.
I’m getting kind of irritated by this whole narrative that Clark is bad for keeping secrets and Lois is an idiot for not knowing that Clark is Superman. The secret identity thing goes for all superheroes, and Clark has a “right” to his normal life and secret identity, just like other super heroes, if he wants it (and…
To be fair, Sega doesn’t owe us anything, and it’s much easier to port a game while using the same servers than it is to localize it and set up new servers across the world and then maintain them for the life cycle of the game. I’m not blaming Sega for this, but it might have been nice to play.
My friend got all excited when he saw news about the PS4 game on Facebook. We both laughed when we found out it’s only being released in Japan. At least I laughed. It would be nice if an American company would make a nice online action RPG, but PSO is big shoes to fill. It would also be be nice to get another PSO game…
Thanks for the awesome review of the recent comics. I stopped reading them a bit ago (money stuff as well as uncertainty about Gordon as Batman), so it’s nice to know what’s going on. I’d have preferred a few more good years of Bruce as Batman in the New 52 universe before something like this, but whatever. Snyder is…
Understood. Here’s hoping that Rare patches the old controls back in so that players have both options. I’m assuming, perhaps incorrectly, that Rare intended to keep both option and just messed it up somehow. As you say, Rare Replay seems like a pretty good deal to anyone who liked Rare’s classic,…
I’ve always poked fun at Skyrim’s art direction, as it was a little too “brown” for me (little variation in color, weather, etc). These screenshots actually look nice to me—lots of color without being overly colorful. I wonder how it looks in motion.
Huh. That would change things. I don’t have an Xbox One, so I can’t test for myself. Just going off this picture, which seems to indicate that the old controls are still selectable. If that’s not the case, I can understand people being upset about that.
There’s got to be an oximoron in there somewhere. Take for example Sleeping Dogs; I don’t think they tend to “GO!” anywhere. Eagerly awaiting other games that will sound funny with the word “GO!” after them.
I agree that people wine too much, but I also think it’s great that Rare patched in a new control option to a port of an old N64 game and left in the option to use whichever control scheme you want. Most companies would have done a pure port and added nothing. Kudos to Rare.
That analysis actually makes sense, Chiral_Spiral.
(Spoken in a mock Batman voice): Is it a game that the music doesn’t deserve or the game the music doesn’t need?
It actually kind of upsets me how negative fans, gaming media, and the Internet and general have been about both this and Mighty No. 9. All this negativity actually compounds any minor mistakes made by the development and/or fundraising team and ends up sabotaging the creators’ vision. I also get the feeling that most…
Let me preface this by saying that I haven’t read these stories. That being said, it seems to me that what’s happened has done more to hurt Lois Lan’s character than it has to improve it. I really don’t think that secret identities is an old story trope that only adds drama (at least not when it’s done well). It…
