I don’t get the point of this comment. Are you trying to defend Netflix’s cowardice in this context? They should have chosen B. As Dave says in the special they have a boner for defending; get off the bus. A is not a defensible option.

Dave’s special isn’t hate speech. I know you almost certainly understand that. Maybe you think people having a different opinion to you is hateful, but it isn’t.
They’re absolutely right to defend this on free speech grounds. It’s scary how the art of not watching something you don’t want to watch has all but disappeared and sometimes it feels like we’ve reached a turning point where the left are calling for huge corporations to police speech. The special shouldn’t be taken…
This is absolutely a show that deserves a spin-off. I only ever liked one joke on That 70s show; Red threatening to put his boot in Eric’s ass, and thankfully it was the only joke they ever told.
The reason lazy AAA developers are incorporating so much dog death is because they’ve already desensitised you to human death. Not wanting to shoot dogs doesn’t make you a sociopath. Wanting to shoot humans does.
I didn’t say they *never* talked about it. How could I be arguing that in the comments section of an article where they talked about it? Could you just stop and think for a second?
Of course, I had doubt you know what your favourite food is.
No, the AV Club is taking Sorkin to task for it.
The Mitski fanbase is truly insane. More so than even the Beyhive or the Swifties, and a scarier kind. People would have noticed. They probably would have started killing each other.
Do you know what a comments section is?
It’s very funny that you proved my point and went “see, gotcha!” Are you genuinely that clueless or are you drunk?
The earliest of those AV Club articles is 2020, 15 years after the WSJ article, which is exactly my point. They waited until it was safe, just like Sorkin did. You’ve essentially gone “you know what’ll get ‘im? Proving him exactly right!”
I truly can’t understand why you took this gambit. It is one of the great self-owns in AV Club history.
This might be a shock to you, but people have been on the AV Club since before 2020 and therefore have first hand experience with their news coverage prior.
“They are reporting on it now”
Wait so it’s a strict binary between being on constant Rudin watch and giving him a free pass?
If you read this article you’d know what I was referencing in my comment.
“I can’t believe Sorkin didn’t know about his behaviour! There was an article in the WSJ from 2005!” - website that has also been giving Rudin a free pass since 2005.
Definitely the funniest hypocrite, though.
So the 1993 Super Mario Bros is now canonically the best Super Mario movie of all time?
