I think Boys Doing The Twist is one of the best Gilmore Girls episodes. It’s not an important episode at all, it’s just fun and executed well. This album sounds like Adam Granduciel woke up and realised they were still playing, on every song. It’s only 6 minutes longer than Lost in the Dream, but it feels twice as long. There’s so many examples in the past of bands trying to meet expectations by going over the top more, there’s no excuse for repeating that
