"Wow, you're very exotic-looking. Was your dad a GI, or…" -Michael Scott - Michael Scott
My favorite bowies are Young Americans and Diamond dogs and station to station tied with aladdin sane. I am not a big fan of ziggy the album but i do appreciate the persona. I love rock and roll with me on diamond dogs. Why is young americans so lowly regarded? Every song is amazing on it.
Every women that can suck on the joy… truly my favorite bowie. He was a white brotha
You ain't no pimp and you ain't whore and a pimps gotta caddy and a ladies got a chrysler, blacks got respect and whites gotta soul train momma got cramps now look at ya hand play…..!!
Lol its kinda like blue eyed soul for van morrison. though van morrison doesn't care for that title.
You took the words out of my mouth. Ive been playing young americans ann lady and have been primarily listening to "Can you hear me" (such touching noise) and the title track. My favorite bowie was thin white duke but no one ever mentions the young americans album, maybe i just don't talk to enough bowie heads.
Young Americans David Bowie is still my favorite style of Bowie. Thin White Duke will live forever.
hmm yeah you're right, I was thinking from a cinematic storytelling pov. but in terms of shaking up movies. Pulp fiction to movies is what seinfield did to sitcoms. Can you think of any movie that as done it post 2000?
for an esoteric group of people, i can see that. I think the harry potter series the millennial version of star wars. (vast universe, magical powers, prophecy).
I miss Malice.
Like a twilight title.
Too much Liz Lemon.
dude same. I remember annoying my friend for all the DVD's and him getting super annoyed when I was around 8. First movie my family ever sat down and thoroughly enjoyed. Me and brother played battlefront endlessly. I loved Star Wars. And When I got older connecting the dots and seeing the deeper meaning behind it.…
tbh I'm not even pumped for star wars. I wish I were and have been trying too, but i just don't care :(
I feel you on that. Back to back westerns made me ehh. but it's winter and I saw the trailer which looked way better then i pictured.
Is it weird I'm more excited for this movie then Star Wars? (as far as big-budget movies go)
That's actually not bad.
