God, I remember loving this book - though I don’t remember much else about it. I hardly ever fire up the Netflix account for which I have a username and password, but in this case I think I will.

Pretty much... the exceptions being Tom Hanks, Jeff Bridges, and the kid who plays Manny on Modern Family.

I thought he was in one of those steady-paycheck NCIS things, maybe the one in NOLA.

My objections to this episode have nothing to do with either Black Mirror or Community - neither of which I’ve seen. My objection is mostly the incomprehensible stupidity of John LaMarr.

I thought the theme of the episode was perfectly fine. But I have a hard time rooting for someone as incompetent as LaMarr. That’s

Cowboy Bebop is really a show that deserves to be watched all the way through, certainly not ditched after two episodes. That has nothing to do with it being an anime. It is just one of my favorite stories and series. It has a bit of a slow-burn buildup that really pays off. To write it off, or write off anime in part

Jesus Tapdancing Christ! The women who write the show these fuckheads love so much are getting harassed & doxxed for writing the show these fuckheads love so much. That is android head-exploding levels of irrationality.

“In order for nonviolence to work, your opponent must have a conscience” I don’t recall much violence against the Nazis in Charlottsivlle. Was that car being driven through the crowd part of the “battle of ideas”.

Nah, just Shakespeare Bros.

Add that to the long list of “turns out Mom was a liar” incidents.

Shhhhh!!! What if they hear you??

“We hired him because he did was he was told, but then we changed what we were telling him, and we decided that was his fault.”

“He was a wonderful collaborator, but we’ve decided that his ‘sandblast away all traces of charm and personality’ approach just wasn’t right for that project.

Here today, gone Trevorrow.

I know this is going to be controversial, but I don’t think that Jared Leto was a good Joker. Further, I think he was a bad Joker.

People—living, actual people—really aren't supposed to have catchphrases.

Is Grave of the Fireflies not anime?
Because that shit wrecked me. Seriously - one of the most emotionally draining movies I've ever seen.

Kiki's Delivery Service is also a good starter.

My Neighbor Totoro
Anyone with kids should see this with them right away. It's simultaneously one of the most sophisticated and innocent movies I've ever seen, and the kids eat it up
