I agree. In particular, I thought Ava’s “running away” phase lasted entirely too long. As a protagonist, I found her childish and annoying, so maybe that’s a realistic portrayal of a young adult? Mary and Beatrice are my favorite characters.

This episode made me think of the movie “Fallen” with Denzel Washington and John Goodman, only all you need to jump into someone’s body is to look them in the eye, rather than touching them.

I was in my early 20's back then. It was discussed at length how it was a suicide, that there was a historical inspiration for it that was well known, and by leaving out that scene it would not serve as encouragement to copycats.

GenX gal here too. I agree that Gaga is more talented; she definitely has a much better voice than Madonna. I have not liked any of Madonna’s full albums since Ray of Light, although I liked the song “Don’t tell me” from Music a lot.

My favorite too.

Her experience with depression is indicative of her privilege and her self-centered approach to life. She may not have meant to brag about how acutely sensitive to life’s complexities she is due to depression. But her words are tone-deaf to the reality that for so many depression is a relentless tidal wave of despair

I agree 100%

This is what the AI generator gave me.

Twilight fans were nuts back in the day.

I agree, that was my understanding too.

True, they could retcon something if they really want to. I hope they don’t force it. I could see Teddy showing up again if/when the Valley Beyond comes into play (and it will at some point, given Serac’s after it).

Only because we're too big for them. Even the laziest cat is a killing machine when the right prey shows up.

Angela blew herself up in the Cradle and Teddy is in Host heaven. Why would you be expecting them to show up in this season?
I think it could be interesting to have the Dolori turn against each other.

Wrong. Dolores is the plural of the Spanish word for pain (dolor). So in itself it is appropriate.

Stewart (Stuart?) and Lyndon violated the second rule in the previous episode when they were watching Marilyn Monroe and Arthur Miller having sex. Katie explicitly said it.

I agree on Next in Fashion. It was a fun watch.

They're not that great. She's overdone it with the collagen injections. Her face has lost any recognizable features and looks like a mask.

The title of this is thematically appropriate. Well done.

I don’t disagree with you, and I am very inclined to see this type of behavior as attention whoring and virtue-signaling. That being said, we really do not know what these celebs do in their true private life. Many may indeed be donating anonymously, volunteering their time in soup kitchens, helping people off-screen.
