Seeing Prem serving in battle was not shocking. The US also has a history of having its colonized/marginalized people serving in its armies. The Tuskegee Airmen and the Borinqueneers come to mind.

I was 12 when Scanners came out. I saw it in the movie theater. That freaking head explosion traumatized me.

I think she’s still in recovery from the accident, so working from home allows her to be more comfortable than she would in an office, but I also think there is a bit of an emotional angle to it, like when one is depressed/anxious and isolates themselves from the outside world.
