Yes! Oh my god, its all coming back to me. I used to have an acquaintance who wanted to be a midwife and she worked as a doula for a while. Which that in itself was a little odd because as far as I could tell she didn’t need to do anything to become a doula other than simply proclaiming “I’m a doula.” And when she

But you aren’t doing it the Goop way.

Well, we’re both talking about women here who willingly put their children’s lives at major risk because of stupidity and ignorance. So dumbass isn’t all that harsh imo.

My dumbass aunt had a home birth and she and my cousin both almost died. Her “midwife” was basically just a glorified doula.

My sister lives in the UK, and while she had hospital births for both of her babies, she was attended for midwives both times: she said she appreciated that the midwives were able to provide very personalized care throughout the pregnancy and beyond; her local midwives had a weighing clinic at the parish hall

I don’t think midwives are permitted to prescribe and administer medication. But I know that in Canada, accredited midwives are required to have emergency meds (i.e. for bleeding, oxygen, and such) on hand.

Simple. All midwives should be trained and certified through accredited medical and nursing programs.

Proper training and regulation! Yay! Integration into the regular medical community! Woot!

I scared my dog when I hollered at the TV when Wun Wun broke the fucking door down.

Just the outside doesn't look appetizing - but the description of the the flavor? WANT

I would totally eat that hyperactive small child’s creation....

This is exactly the kind of nonsense I'd waste money on if I had it. But, alas, I do not.

While the women who are there protest the fact that the men are there, and the men refuse to leave, harass a woman, and manhandle her. Good job, pointless hateful law. “Protecting” women with these kinds of laws never does seem to protect us, huh? Especially if we’re not girly enough for the people doing the

Right? Also I love how this poor woman’s appearance brought two cis men into the women’s bathroom, which is exactly what those bills are supposed to prevent.

Also, if you’re a cis woman who gets all pissy about the fact that so many trans women (in your minds) embrace “stereotypical femininity”

agreed... boring. I’m back on the Beyonce train with Lemonade (was bored of her for a while...) and her costuming in vidoes lately has been A fucking Plus, so I’m kind of let down by this. Yah leotards are good for dancing... but so are other things??

I only like the red latex looking thing and the black hat. The rest look like variations from all her other tours. Same high cut onsie/twosie with different material/embellishments.

I would go around naked too. But a bit of change is good.

Will anyone ever wear skirts or pants on stage again?
