You are correct. The Beyhive is like Hydra though: they are everywhere, they are legion, and as soon as you mention something not 100% complimentary about Beyonce 2 more come back in comments sections.

Yeah, that person seriously needs to read about ballet then watch some. It is hardcore, and their bodies move in extreme ways.

My childhood BFF loved Amy Grant and this song and as such so did I. It was only much later (like, early 20s) that I realized she was a Christian musician, which is why my friend was allowed to listen to her.

My moms name is Becky so i wonder when/if she’ll hear these comments/discussion on the ol’ internets and ask me about it.

The original piece might be good but the summary is making me think it’s rather Silly. That conclusion made me lol, spiritually not literally.

And I want to clarify that while I think choosing a painting to put up in a sitting room to entertain some of the most powerful people in the world is tone deaf, but covering everything up and acting like it isn't there is embarrassing and it would have been better if they had just not done that.

You’re making good points that I agree with but I don’t think being aware that Michelle makes strategic wardrobe choices is the same as wondering if they’d notice or read a small plaque on a painting on a wall? I mean as I said, the content speaks for itself and the content they could easily see, despite strategic

I have no idea about the historical context.

When I visited Cawdor Castle you could tell the current Lady (and that is some amazing wikipedia spiral drama if you’re curious) was trying to update and spruce up the decor with geometric knick knacks and contemporary art while also leaving centuries old royal furniture and decor around. It kind of worked, actually!

I do think a lot of people stay in hotels or use AirBnB for Coachella, bc it has become the quintessential music festival for folks with cash to burn. But I do know there is a camping element to it.

Is this like one of those Navy Seal Copypasta memes, but with music?

I’m so stuck in the early/mid 2000s mindset that festivals were basically for people who 1. loved music, sincerely, often jam band or bluegrass 2. Liked camping and knew how to do it 3. wore pretty but ultimately practical and comfortable clothes you didn’t mind sitting on grass or even dirt, and if they got muddy it

Taylor swift will be so PO’d when she hears about this.

It’ll be a while before politicians in the other half of the country just tell their ignorant voters still living in the war on drugs era “weed is as bad as meth and only degenerates use it” mentality to sod off so they can get those sweet, sweet tax dollars. CO has shown us what legalizing and taxing pot can do.
