I look forward to an America where the President and the Speaker don’t need to express an opinion on every news story of the day. Cuomo being a predatory douche is not a federal government issue. Schumer and Gillibrand and other federal officials from New York at least have a connection in that they were elected by

Yeah, as well as old enough to remember Clinton’s budget surplus, the economic disaster of the Bush administration, Obama’s administration hauling the country out of that trash heap, then Trump pissing it all away because he didn’t want to admit that COVID was real.

But he hasn’t fixed everything and brought us utopia in under 100 days, so #fail.

Thank you. My wife was exposed almost a year ago today, early on, and we went into quarantine before much of the country even knew what covid was. The months of March and April in particular were incredibly intense. None of her coworkers died thank goodness, though several in her unit did end up in ICU as patients.

And who is also not an actual moron.

My wife is a nurse. When we were in what felt like the deepest/darkest days of the pandemic - the start, before we all become numb to the fact that 2K Americans are dying every day from covid and hospitals were running out of masks and gloves and respirators and it kind of felt like this was maybe the beginning of the

Now if we could only get 77 million other American’s to see this...I mean, it is right in their stupid faces.

A-fucking-men.

It seems a little weird that the NEA has decided that a German Jew active during WWII is a major threat to “diversity,” particularly given that there’s been nothing from them on Roald Dahl’s virulent antisemitism as far as I can find.

The House has already passed that legislation. The President wants it. We have the votes in the Senate. Yet, an unelected staffer in the Senate decides that 30 million people cannot get that wage increase?

I wasn’t against Trump for putting immigrants in Housing facilities. I was against the conditions of the facilities. The fact that no thought was given to comfort, safety or health of kids. I was against forcibly separating kids from parents, and losing track of the parents. I was against inhumane treatment and

It’s just bizarre how because it’s the same place it must be the same reasons.

But what’s the immediate solution though? Kids crossing the border need somewhere to go now and legally they can’t be put in existing facilities because of covid rules during a pandemic where the new administration is having to build an entire federal effort from scratch. Tents are hardly great for anything more than

Oh, my goodness YES!

To the modern republican, everyone is dispensable, except for trump. He is both the glue that holds the whole thing together and the reason the thing itself exists..

Maybe Pence, but I honestly think they would only care if the rioters had killed someone like McConnell or Lindsey Graham. You know one of their own who have been completely loyal to Trump. Romney is an outcast and Pence is not respected. They are dispensable to the Senate Republicans.

Honestly, I’m beginning to think that the only thing that would make republican members of the Senate take this seriously is if the mob had gotten to and killed someone like Romney or Pence.

Oh my god I am shaking my head on this one. I think David Hogg pretty much sums it up here:

Mr. Hogg - I will be pleased to purchase your pillows just to spite that other asshole.

Can’t tell you how much I enjoy Mike Lindell’s meltdown. It’s like watching a guy fall down stairs every day. Wild stuff.
