100% CP. Worst car I’ve ever owned. Still one of the prettiest though. The shift from first to second in these will give you whiplash, just stay away from the automatics.

My GF gets 20-30 guys a week that message her on FB and just say “Hey.” It’s freaking hysterical. Has that worked for anyone ever?

Good looking in the picture but even better in person.

I drove one at a GM test drive event when they were still doing those. Thought I was Billy Badass driving it around the track until the instructor started laughing at me. Told me to do exactly what he said and HOLY SHIT! I was accelerating way longer on the straights than I thought possible because those freaking

Hwy 71 is a perfect example of why this is a terrible idea. A clusterfuck from the day it was proposed. And it was never a six lane highway. It was supposed to be a typical highway but the neighborhoods around it sued in an attempt to avoid the divisions that occurred to neighborhoods when I-70 went in. The result is

People make this more difficult than it has to be.  Do your research, decide what you want to pay, call or email dealerships and tell them exactly what you want and for how much.  Takes a bit of time but you will eventually get what you want as long as its reasonable.

I bought a nice unmodded two owner 2002 with 80k miles for $11k a bit over a year ago so I know they are out there if you look around.

I have been eyeing this Subaru and this Datsun for awhile. Don’t usually get old cars this rust free in the area.

Didn’t think it was possible but they somehow made kinja worse with the new update.

That intro was excellent.  And while there were a few good scenes overall it seemed to me to be directed by someone that had no idea what they were doing.  There is a good story in there but I don’t think what we got was very good at all.  And don’t get me started on the terrible music throughout the whole thing.  So

Beautiful, sure.  Good? Not really.

In a Chevette? Why?

Ahh, didn’t know that. Thanks for the info.

Weren’t those FWD?  The Toronado or Caddy FWD systems of that era wouldn’t work? Seems like there has to be something else besides that rube goldberg system.
