Yeah there was a lot of sweet shit there this year!!! This 4 Rotor FD RX was pretty sweet

Not the fastest, not the sexiest, not the best handling... but for a 1993 with a V-6 it’s very satisfying to just obliterate 80% of the cars on this list up to 100 MPH and still have it drive reasonably comforable around town.

Hey I do love me some Dr. Strangelove but still think Terminator 2 should have beaten it out... That shit was crazy watching the pyrotechnic shock wave instantly just turn everyone in the playground to a pile of bones.

Comfortable to ride in, less conspicuous than a sports car, no traction control, no launch control, and now (on mine) no ABS. Handles decently well for a 4k lb mini SUV and haven’t met too many things that will take it from a standing stop :-)

It’s only covering that distance when it’s at speed, accelerating to and decelerating from would be slower rates. Also once the car hits 1,000 MPH it surely won’t be sustaining that rate of travel for long before they shut it down. But I’ll wager it will take damn close if not all the whole 12 miles.

I dunno... Mine is the 2.4L GT with the Getrag 6 speed transmission in it.. runs down the highway at 5,200 feet above sea level and gets 32-34 MPG at 80 MPH
