Its not even a job if you can start and stop on a whim.
I got a letter in the mail, “Drive for Uber and make and upto $500 extra in a weekend. They always stated the income to be extra to my job. Uber never advertised to me to drive for them for a livable wage.
Uber took over Taxis because the Government crippled Taxi’s with Taxi Medallions (regulation) while allowing Uber to operate without the medallion. Any city that offers taxi medallion like NYC and Chicago should be sued for not enforcing the medallion regulation on Uber and Lyft.
Exactly. The drivers Pay Uber 25% commission for brokering them to the rider. Not Uber paying the Driver.
It’s Uber, you don’t quite because it’s not a job. You just stop doing it...
75% to driver 25% to Uber.
Ummmm, it does... 75% to partner 25% to Uber.
Well, they can start their own ride share service and pay themselves whatever they want to within the means of their very own ride share service.
Taxis require medallions to operate, maybe we should blame government.
Really? Because they actually drive for Uber, Lyft, door dash, Grubhub, ect. Hell, Even full on taxi companies in NYC have taken to also giving Uber rides. Uber is a service and anyone under it is it’s customer.
I disagree. This is a capitalist nation. Another company will step up and fill the gap to supply the demand. More competition brings better service and lower costs.
Exactly. What Uber is saying is to Stop driving for Uber and get a damn job.
What Uber is saying is to Stop driving for Uber if you don’t like driving for Uber.
And you never felt like snapping a picture?
Having something taken out of context... Kinja does it all the time to right wing politicians. How did you like it?
Or no one can other than the government rulers.
This is pretty ignorant for a car company to state. Electric is faster, more powerful, and generates instant torque. Maserati will in deed go full electric, as will everyone else as soon as battery technology get’s on par.
I think they’re entitled to it.
There’s already a company that steals the scooters and demands a ransom(much more than $10) for it. It was written on here maybe a month ago.
