Right, some people get sick, some have babies young, and some can’t work due to disability. But there are 43 million people in poverty in America. $600 per year is enough. Could you imagine if you saved just $600 a year in the 90's and bought Amazon with that little bit?

True, I know what I know from my parents. I went to a very good public school system in NJ and they too did nothing for financial education. 

I would never look at lowering taxes on anyone or anything as “catastrophic”. Also, literally every class except the rich takes more from the government than provided. So, any tax cut is a tax cut on the rich.
