@Joe_Kickass: Well, I know tons of people on Sprint, you must not get out much. Trust me, when your cell provider starts rolling out limited connectivity to its own 4G/LTE network in select cities, I'm sure I'll be already zooming on 4G here in Fresno, CA...

Although I would NEVER buy an Apple product, this brings up pretty much how I think about the company, I just side with the hate side.

@grimdeath9740: What did you do? I have an EVO 4G also, and I get an error that the license could not be installed right when it finishes installing, and when I go to use Swype, it gives me an error that reads: "The Swype package you installed is configured for another device and will operate with limited

@Fanwashere: It will just get rejected for god knows what crappy reason...

No, it just means the abysmal amount of accessories for Zune's just went up by one. I have a Zune and I am damn frustrated when I want a case or a dock, but walk into Best Buy and instead find a wall of iPod accessories instead and maybe a f*cking screen protector for my Zune...

Damn, I bet some of these early devices will make their way on Ebay starting June 24th with a quickness... I'm betting they'll get real pricey, real fast...

@crsrc: Not when you were first promised to get one from the first shipment...

My EVO 4G Pre-order? It was a breeze at BestBuy... Now getting it connected on the day of launch, that was a different story... I wonder how it will go with the iPhone 4...

@Joe_Kickass: Yeah, the first 4G network? Wow, how could I ever make that mistake...

@Robbie DiDio: tested.com, while had a brief blurb about how this is possible, Lifehacker had a much more exhaustive step-by-step process. There is no need to cite (not "site") test.com's dumbass article.

I think that's the most updates I've ever seen in one article... ha!

Well, my pre-order for my EVO 4G went on without a hitch. The day-of actually getting the device was a different story. 2.5 hours of waiting with the Best Buy associate since both Sprint's and Best Buy's systems were constantly crashing.

My Evo 4G still wins...

Nope - I got Sprint so this is such a non-issue for me

I'm still curious how this thing will stand up against my EVO 4G, but I have yet to see anything that really says, "This is way better!" In fact, I still find the EVO superior in many ways

That's gonna be one damn long keynote if even 80% of these turn out to be true... My ass already hurts just thinking about it!

@Ryan_Long: Are you kidding? Fresno county is the 3rd largest county in the state behind LA, and (yes) San Francisco. Sure, LA and SF should get 4G before Fresno, I was just saying Visalia better not get it before Fresno! =)
