Gawd, I think I’ve seen every single one of the things happening in those gifs, in like 100 other generic Animes.

(I know, the 4 hours thing is a joke, don’t bother pointing it out)
I was waiting for them to stop adding 50 other versions of the 5 character they have, and add Brainiac to give me a reason to start playing. I wonder why they thought ignoring 95% of the DC universe was a good idea?
For a long time super hero stories were badly written things for kids. Then the 80’s came and writing talent went up by leaps and bounds, and like animation, the medium became more mature. Then the movies came and the popular media realized serious stories can come out from these sources. Just look at Batman TAS; it’s…
Get on your knees obediently and open wide; cause the market’s spoken.
You’re right, but “absence of evidence is not evidence of absence”. I don’t think they will pull a fast one on us either. But I won’t claim to be psychic.
No, it’s not “too late”. Game plots are rarely revealed in full this early. Much less the overall meaning of the story (if any).
That’s obviously marketing; it’s being sold for it’s shock value. But we don’t know if the game is deeper than that. Hell, it might have been that shallow, and then they changed it. It might still be. We don’t know.
“Hatred is just simply sadist; the whole point of the game is killing people and nothing else.”
Well as far as I know, they’re bringing back New Earth (1985-2011 universe) so that’s a good thing. Plus it’s not like Marvel doesn’t do reboots... They’re doing one right now as a matter of fact.
I’ve seen people who play like this.
I don’t see what’s mind boggling here. Violent video games usually have a T or M rating, to “prevent” kids from buying them. Cartoons also have ratings, usually the lower ones hence the editing. Mexico however, doesn’t give a shit; we had DB/DBZ on TV completely unedited, down to Goku’s/Gohan’s dicks (WTF) and Bulma…
I love DC (I think they’re better than Marvel comics-wise) but you gotta admit, they’re playing second fiddle to Marvel right now when it comes to movies. And they seem to be struggling on how to deal with this. I mean, just look at their newest attempt at Superman. They threw him into a gritty world, because Batman’s…
Comic book companies do allow that to happen. Pre-Crisis, there were two Batmen, and two Supermen, a Superboy, and an Ultraman. Then Post-Crisis, there were double digits more than that, with all the Elseworlds stories. I think it’s Warner who thinks there shouldn’t be more than one at the same time. Probably some…
I hate the fact that Teen Titan cartoon tried to emulate Anime, when one of the best Teen Titan runs in the comics was drawn by a technical master in George Perez. It’s a disservice to him. So many great and distinctive artists in comics, and they try to emulate one of the most generic styles out there instead.
Which is creepy as hell. Especially when said fans buy pillows with 10 year olds on them!
I think this discussion just save that guy from burning down his own house. Lmao.
“Of course, animation will continue abroad—and it, perhaps, that animation will be influenced heavily by anime. Who knows.”
The problem is that you got it right when games are starting to go higher on the technological scale. Devs are now really developing games for the new consoles, which means the PC versions (on high settings) are much more demanding than before.
Those are the reasons...? You’re trolling aren’t you? Either that or you’re a complete idiot.
